BODYBAR Pilates plans to open its second Pennsylvania studio at 232 Eagleview Boulevard, Suite 110, in Exton. The 2,300-square-foot location is scheduled to open November 16, pending construction timelines. It will house 14 Reformers and offer the company’s athletic Pilates classes for all fitness levels. First-time franchise owner Preeti Gandhi will operate the studio with her husband, Kartik.

Opening Events And Memberships

The studio will hold a Founding Members Sip & See on October 21 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for founding members and pre-approved VIP guests. A Trunk or Treat event follows on October 29 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with local vendors, food, refreshments, crafts, permanent jewelry and candy. Registration is required for the Trunk or Treat event.

A limited number of founding memberships will offer discounted memberships for life, priority booking and a complimentary class before the studio opens.

Local Ownership And Expansion

Gandhi has more than a decade of experience in fitness and nutrition and is a practicing nutritionist supporting clients navigating menopause and vegetarian lifestyles. She will oversee front-of-house operations, while Kartik will manage financials and human resources. Gandhi plans to continue her work as a senior product manager while pursuing certification as a BODYBAR Pilates instructor.

Preeti Gandhi, franchise owner at BODYBAR Pilates Exton, said:

“Kartik and I couldn’t be more excited to open our first franchise this fall, especially with a fitness brand we’re so confident in. What initially drew me to BODYBAR was its inclusivity. I watched an interview highlighting the care an instructor showed a member using a wheelchair and was truly in awe of the level of support and accommodation given to her. No matter your age and experience level, Pilates can be such an effective and approachable workout to build both strength and community. That’s exactly what we hope to bring to Exton, and we can’t wait to meet our new members soon.”

Pennsylvania Growth

BODYBAR Pilates reports more than 70 studios in its pipeline, with 12 slated to open by the end of the year. The Exton opening expands its presence in Pennsylvania.

Kamille McCollum, chief brand officer, president, and co-founder at BODYBAR Pilates, said:

“We’re thrilled to have the Gandhis join the BODYBAR Pilates family and help us expand our presence in Pennsylvania. Their passion for wellness, community and inclusivity align perfectly with our core values and what we instill in all of our team members. At BODYBAR, we pride ourselves on offering ‘balanced, athletic and real’ workouts that are actually achievable and leave you wanting more. We can’t wait to see the impact the Gandhis make in Exton.”
