Orangetheory Fitness will introduce OTconnect for Apple Watch at participating U.S. studios on Oct. 23, 2026. The connected fitness company’s new integration lets members use their personal Apple Watch during class for real-time performance tracking. For a one-time $99 connection fee, members can view heart rate, heart rate zones, calories burned and Splat Points on their wrist. The launch also includes up to two free months of Apple Music and Apple Fitness+ for members who connect their watch.
Performance Data On The Wrist
Members can start a workout on Apple Watch once it connects to OTconnect, Orangetheory’s in-studio performance-tracking platform. After class, they can review a performance summary in the Apple Watch app, while further workout data and personalized insights are available in the OTF app and by email.
Stephanie Schon, Domestic Brand President at Orangetheory Fitness, said:
“Every enhancement we make to our technology comes back to one question: Does it help our members see results? Allowing our members to connect their Apple Watch gives them another seamless way to stay connected to the data they care about that drives their progress, with a device they already wear and love, all while delivering the personalized experience that is core to Orangetheory.”
More Tracking Options
The integration joins Orangetheory’s existing OTconnect Beat performance monitor, which remains available in studios and through orangetheory.com. The company also recently added Trends to the OTF app, allowing members to view workout metrics over time.
OTconnect for Apple Watch requires watchOS 11.6 or later. It will support Apple Watch Series 6 or later, Apple Watch SE or later, and Apple Watch Ultra or later.
Member Access Begins October 23
The new option will be available at participating U.S. Orangetheory studios beginning Oct. 23, 2026. Members who connect an Apple Watch can receive up to two free months of Apple Music and Apple Fitness+.
