Kaizen will open its nearly 50,000-square-foot fitness and wellness facility at Bayshore in fall 2026. Founded by Dr. Ryan Poolay and Chad Meier, the site at 501 W Northshore Drive will serve Milwaukee’s North Shore. The facility will include fitness spaces, studios, courts, recovery amenities, a café, and social areas. Kaizen is hiring ahead of its opening, with memberships now available.

Fitness And Social Spaces

The facility will include strength and cardio areas, yoga, Pilates reformer and group fitness studios, a 90-foot indoor turf training area, two full-size gymnasiums, pickleball courts, personal training spaces, and locker rooms with dry saunas. Its café will serve espresso beverages, matcha, tea, smoothies, protein shakes, and recovery-focused drinks.

Dr. Ryan Poolay, co-founder at Kaizen, said:

“We didn't set out to build another gym. We wanted to create a place where people feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door. Every detail was thoughtfully selected to create an environment that inspires people to return, connect with others, and continually improve.”

Community Programming

Each new member will receive an introduction to the facility, a guided tour, and an opportunity to meet with a coach to develop a fitness plan based on individual goals. Kaizen also plans educational programming on fitness, nutrition, recovery, and long-term health.

Chad Meier, co-founder at Kaizen, said:

“The North Shore is an active and growing community, and we saw an opportunity to create something different. Our goal is to build a place where people don't just work out—they build relationships, learn, and become part of a community.”

Kaizen is hiring personal trainers, fitness professionals, membership advisors, café baristas, basketball, volleyball and pickleball instructors, and league coordinators.
