Tomato Products Wellness Council, known as Tomato Wellness, has launched Field to Sealed, a campaign for foodservice professionals using canned and jarred tomatoes. The initiative is designed for pizza shop owners, restaurateurs, wholesalers and other operators. It introduces an emblem intended to recognize tomato products and share their field-to-kitchen story. Tomato Wellness says its research found that 89% of operators consider shelf life important, alongside recipe suitability at 88%, flavor intensity at 87%, and natural colors and flavors at 86%.

From Fields To Kitchens

The campaign focuses on tomatoes grown by family farmers, harvested at peak ripeness, and then canned or jarred by processors.

Alec Wasson, Director at Tomato Wellness, said:

“Chefs and restaurant operators take pride in the ingredients they serve and want to know where food comes from and who grows it. Field to Sealed celebrates that connection and gives operators a way to share the story from the farmers who grow the tomatoes to the kitchens that serve them.”

Pizza Expo Launch

Field to Sealed will appear this month at Pizza Expo Columbus 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. Attendees can visit Booth 202 to learn about the campaign and share what taking pride in ingredients means to them.

The launch includes a promotional pizza box kit with campaign branding, plus printable materials for table tents, menus and other point-of-sale uses.

A New Product Story

Tomato Wellness presents Field to Sealed as a way for restaurants to communicate the sourcing and quality story behind the tomato products they serve.
