Still Mountain Wellness Retreat has announced its rebrand from Vedanta Spiritual and Holistic Retreat, while retaining its 501(c)(3) status and organizational roots. The California Hot Springs, California, nonprofit operates across 240 acres of preserved southern Sierra Nevada foothills at an elevation of 3,100 feet. Its programs include residential retreats, teacher residencies, and workshops, alongside environmental stewardship work with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Point Blue Conservation Science, and the Roots Project. The rebrand introduces Still Mountain as the organization’s operating name.
A Mountain Sanctuary
The property includes thermal mineral waters, mountain views, night skies, and private walking trails. Its conservation partnerships cover native oak woodlands, spring watersheds, and migratory wildlife corridors across the campus.
Deepak, Director at Still Mountain Wellness Retreat, said:
“This rebrand reflects the living reality of our campus and the daily practice we have cultivated here over the years. While our legal structure, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and organizational roots as Vedanta Spiritual and Holistic Retreat remain unchanged, people come to this mountain seeking practical, time-tested tools. They come to understand the mechanics of breath, walk in genuine silence, and experience the stillness of the Sierra foothills. Still Mountain represents that grounded sanctuary directly.”
Retreats And Residencies
The retreat schedule includes The Art of Breathwork for Wellness and Stress Reduction, which offers instruction in classical pranayama and respiratory mechanics. Other offerings include silent natural retreats, women’s gatherings, full moon and new moon meditations, and private leadership retreats.
Still Mountain also hosts independent yoga teachers, meditation guides, breathwork instructors, and educational nonprofit leaders for private workshops. The campus provides indoor and outdoor practice areas, private and shared accommodations, walking paths, and organic plant-based meal services.
Support Beyond The Stay
The nonprofit offers scheduled post-retreat check-ins intended to help guests continue breathwork habits in daily life. It also provides community scholarships and lists its full schedule, group rental information, and program details on its retreats page.
