Strøm Old Quebec has been named Canada’s Best Day Spa at the World Spa Awards for the third consecutive year. The spa is part of STROM Group, a Canadian wellness company founded in Québec in 2009. The group operates 10 destinations and brands, including spas, restaurants, skincare, and urban wellness spaces. The recognition comes as STROM Group prepares for expansion across Canada and the United States.

Third Consecutive Recognition

The award recognizes Strøm Old Quebec as Canada’s Best Day Spa for a third year. STROM Group said the honor reflects the expertise and standards applied across its destinations and brands.

Guillaume Lemoine, Chief Executive Officer at STROM Group, said:

“At STROM Group, we believe well-being is built on balance—between water and architecture, nature and culture, local roots and global vision. This award celebrates not only the remarkable work of the Old Quebec team, but also the collective expertise behind every Strøm. It confirms our ambition to set a thoughtful, world-class standard for wellness experiences that remain rooted in our Canadian identity while reaching new audiences. As we expand across Canada and into the United States, we will carry that same philosophy of balance and accessible well-being into each new market.”

Group Portfolio

STROM Group’s portfolio includes Strøm Nordic Spa, Nord restaurants, the BORÉAL skincare line, AWŪ urban sanctuary, Förena Cité thermale, Sibéria Spa, and Spa Nordic Station. The company also operates a magazine and podcast, alongside retail collections under the Strøm and AWŪ brands.

Plans For New Markets

The group said it is laying groundwork for future expansion in Canada and North America. Its stated aim is to bring its approach to well-being to new audiences while honoring the cultures and landscapes of the places it enters.
