Gene Juarez Marks 55 Years in Washington

Gene Juarez 55th anniversary includes an October 2 University Village event and offers at 12 Washington salon and spa locations.

Gene Juarez Salons & Spas will mark its 55th anniversary with an October 2 event at its University Village salon in Seattle. Founded in Seattle in 1971, the company now operates 12 full-service locations across Washington State and serves more than 300,000 guests. The University Village showcase will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friends, family, current guests and prospective guests are invited to tour the salon and meet its stylists and estheticians.

The anniversary event will take place at the University Village salon, where attendees can celebrate five decades of the company’s work. Gene Juarez calls the location an important part of the company’s history.

Offers Across Washington

From October 2 through October 4, guests at all Gene Juarez locations can receive a sweet treat. Through October 31, guests booking a haircut, color or skincare service can receive a custom cosmetic bag with hair and skincare products, subject to a minimum service purchase.

New guests can save $20 on their first service by mentioning code GJ55 when booking. Participating locations include University Village, West Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Southcenter Square, Alderwood, Tacoma, Lacey, Gig Harbor, Silverdale, South Hill and Spokane.

Recent Statewide Growth

Over the past three years, the company has opened four Washington locations, expanded into wellness services and opened a Spokane salon at River Park Square. Its locations now serve communities from Seattle and South Sound to Spokane.
