Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series adds Life: Period Tracker, Clue, and The Ginger Club apps for cycle tracking and training plans.
by Body & Soul Newsroom ·

Huawei has expanded the app ecosystem for its newly launched HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series through partnerships with Life: Period Tracker, Clue, and The Ginger Club. The apps are available through HUAWEI AppGallery across all Watch Fit 5 models. They add cycle logging, watch data integration, and cycle-based running plans to the wearable. New buyers also receive three months of Life: Period Tracker premium, valued at €15, and a three-month Clue Plus trial.
Cycle Tracking on the Watch
Life: Period Tracker lets users log cycle data, symptoms, mood, and flow level from the watch. Clue integrates sleep data and body temperature readings from the watch with cycle analysis through the Huawei Health app.
Clue’s integration is available with a Clue Plus subscription.
Running Plans by Cycle Phase
The Ginger Club, founded by running coach Candela Pérez, offers training plans from 5K to marathon designed around menstrual cycle phases. The app syncs with the Watch Fit 5 Series and draws on real-time pace, heart rate, and recovery data to guide users on when to push and when to rest.
Developer Platform Expansion
The company is inviting health brands and developers to build for its wearable platform through Health Kit integration or native app development for HUAWEI AppGallery. The Watch Fit 5 Series also supports Curve Pay contactless payments and Huawei MultiPass, which includes Huawei Health+ membership and offers from komoot, Naviki, URUNN, and FIIT.
