Paradisus La Perla Earns WITT Certification

Paradisus La Perla has become the first Meliá Hotels International property to receive WITT certification in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Paradisus La Perla, an adults-only all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, has become the first Meliá Hotels International property to receive the Wellness in Travel & Tourism Certified Seal. Paradisus by Meliá announced the certification on June 11, following the resort’s expanded wellness concept debut in May 2026. The 393-suite property includes 58 swim-up suites, 148 The Reserve suites, and two The Reserve Presidential Suite. Its program combines Mayan traditions with movement, mindfulness, recovery, and destination-led experiences.

Certification Standards

WITT assesses more than 100 criteria across five areas: Healthy Eating, Holistic Healing, Nature, Movement, and Local Impact. The resort’s wellness program is organized around the pillars Move, Nourish, Rest & Recover, and Mind & Connect.

Wellness Program

The resort’s daily Holistic Wellness Program includes Red Light Yoga, Disco Spinning, Reformer Pilates by Technogym, and Breathing & Ice Plunge sessions inspired by the Wim Hof Method. Its Longevity Suite includes vibroacoustic loungers, binaural sound technology, PEMF therapy, compression recovery, and red-light treatments.

Guests can also choose from Calm & Rebalance, Endurance & Longevity, and Enrich & Discovery Wellness Plans. The plans combine fitness, spa, mindfulness, nutrition, cultural experiences, and in-room wellness rituals.

Resort Facilities

Paradisus La Perla offers six restaurants, eight bars, 24-hour room service, a personalized mini bar, evening cocktails and snacks, and an immersive local cenote experience. The Reserve guests also receive Destination Concierge service, while the property includes private seasonal heated pools, an exclusive beach area, and a fitness center.

YHI Spa has 16 treatment rooms, heated treatment cabins, a water ritual, sauna and steam room, and a healthy beverage bar. The resort’s wellness partners include Technogym, Therabody, Comfort Zone, Wim Hof Method, BetterMe, SUDA, and Knesko Skin.
