Andrea Maier To Keynote 2026 Wellness Summit
Andrea Maier will keynote the 2026 Global Wellness Summit in Phuket on longevity and healthspan research.

Global Wellness Summit will host Andrea B. Maier, MD, PhD, as a keynote speaker at its 20th annual conference in Phuket, Thailand, from November 10 to 13, 2026. Maier will speak on “Health Optimization: Integrating Consumer-Led Health and Precision Geromedicine.” The event will take place at Angsana Laguna Phuket. Maier will also lead an “After Dinner Conversation” on November 10.
Longevity Research Focus
Maier is professor of medicine at the National University of Singapore, where she co-founded and directs the NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity clinical trial center. She is also professor of gerontology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has authored more than 500 peer-reviewed publications.
Her team is among 20 finalists in the $101 million XPrize Healthspan competition. Its PROMETHEUS project uses lifestyle and diet interventions, nutraceuticals and repurposed drugs prescribed according to an individual’s gerotype and adapted based on treatment response.
Evidence And Training
Maier co-founded the NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity to conduct clinical trials, translate research into current applications and train doctors in longevity science. She also advises organizations including the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
She founded Chi Longevity, a clinic in Asia that uses genetic, epigenetic and metabolic measures to identify precision interventions. TIME magazine named Maier among its 12 longevity leaders for 2026.

The Phuket program will also feature Dan Buettner, founder of the Blue Zones movement; George Gaitanos, MSc, PhD, chief operating and scientific officer of Chenot Group; Christopher Asandra, MD, founder and medical director of AsandraMD; and Tanupol Virunhagarun, MD, CEO of BDMS Wellness Group.
